Rehearsals

Every rehearsal begins with a warm welcome and a full vocal and physical warm-up, before we launch into our repertoire for that session.

We learn songs in a number of ways:  by rote in some cases where you will follow a call and repeat system, or with lyrics or sheet music etc as appropriate.

Roz will work with everyone offering vocal tips and techniques where necessary, encouraging an even and blended sound.  You will be asked to learn the lyrics to some of the songs we work with, but they will be second nature to you in no time.  There will be lots of laughter!

Around half way through the rehearsal, we break for a cuppa, a biscuit and a chance for a natter, before moving into the second half.

Repertoire

In terms of repertoire, we sing motown, pop and gospel songs that lift the spirits and help us all forget any cares and worries for our time together.
